Workshop Works – Concrete Flooring

The concrete floor within the workshop has been completed!

The Mechanical Workshop at Healesville Station houses a team of very dedicated Volunteers who work tirelessly on the restoration and maintenance of all rolling stock at the YVR. Main tasks include the maintenance and service of the Walker Railmotor RM22 plus ongoing restoration of heritage passenger carriages and the Walker Railmotor Trailer.

The Workshop has recently received some attention itself, with the completion of the concrete flooring. This will improve access for all Volunteers and create a larger work area for future restoration projects. Well done to the team involved!

If you would like to Volunteer at the Mechanical Workshop, fill out a Volunteer Form Here – no experience necessary and all are welcome!
