Yarra Glen Station – Heritage Fencing Complete!

YVR Volunteers complete another project milestone at Yarra Glen Station

The Yarra Valley Railway Volunteers have been hard at work completing the heritage fencing at Yarra Glen Station. Painting has been complete, and the platform gates have been installed.

This picket fencing complements the replica heritage platform lighting and restored Milk Shed – Yarra Glen Station is starting to resemble it former self! Well done to all Volunteers involved in this restoration of this heritage landmark.

Works continue on the brick edging  around the future garden beds, which will add to the charm of this heritage station.

The Yarra Valley Railway is completing the Largest Volunteer Infrastructure Project in Australia – and Yarra Glen Station is just one part. To find out more and become involved, please complete the Volunteer Form.
