With the arrival of additional motive power and rollingstock from Healesville, shed space has become even more of a premium and it was looking like 62RM would have to be left out under tarpaulins. Restoration of 62RM at Healesville was also a very long term prospect with the number of higher priority projects at present.
We see this as a great result in that 62RM will be saved from any further decay in a secure undercover storage with hopefully a much earlier chance of restoration to operating condition. We wish our good friends at the Daylesford Spa Country Railway all the best with the move and restoration and look forward to seeing 62 RM return to service in the future!
